UPDATE: Check out our Garmin StreetPilot c530 review and Garmin StreetPilot c550 review.
Garmin announced several new automotive units today, including the StreetPilot c510 and StreetPilot c550. A c530 unit was also mentioned, though less details were forthcoming for that unit. Both devices include the SiRFSTAR III chipset, for improved GPS reception, and Garmin Lock™, an "anti-theft feature that disables the unit from performing any functions until you type in a specific 4-digit PIN or take the unit to a predetermined location." Both units also include a new, slimmer design and an improved sunlight-readable, anti-glare display. The c510 and c550 are expected to become available in the second quarter of 2006.
