Dash Navigation’s network potential

Dash_navigationDash Navigation made headlines a few weeks ago, when they announced their innovative approach to providing traffic information — relying on networked data from other Dash users, and historical information as well.

Today Engagdet posted an interesting followup piece about how this technology may bring us roving wi-fi hotspots on the highway. They also forecast a bit about the cost of the service, and explore Dash’s business model and the hurdles it needs to overcome.
