Forums coming to Garmin website
I may have to add to my list of GPS message boards. Hidden away in today’s Garmin press release that highlighted the new Garmin logo, the Chicago store front, and advertising plans, was this tidbit…
"Garmin’s website, www.garmin.com, is also undergoing a redesign. Portions of the new site are already active, and Garmin will continue to unveil other areas of the site at regular intervals. The updated website features a more consumer friendly interface, an active community forum, and “myGarmin,” a one-stop-shop for customers who want to take advantage of all of their product’s features."
Of course, I immediately went to the website, but alas, I could find no forum, leaving me to conclude that this is one of the new features that Garmin has yet to "unveil."
It would be great to get answers straight from the horse’s mouth. If Garmin does this right and devotes staff resources, it could become one of the best places to go for information about Garmin products.
