TomTom has increased their holiday GPS rebate offer from $50 to $100, and extended the offer through January 6, 2007. Be sure to read the fine print we discussed here though — you can’t double dip.

I purchased aTom Tom One in December for a Christmas gift from Digital Plaza. In January, I sent in the proper forms for a rebate ($100) but as of yet, I have not received it. Any ideas why this is taking so long.
No idea, but it’s another indication of why I hate mail-in rebates. Have you complained directly to TomTom?
You might try searching / asking at the YourNav.com TomTom forum. I tried doing a search but their site seems to be experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment.
Digital plaza does not appear on the approved list of resellers for the rebate offer. I was looking to pick up a 930T, and so far of the 90+ resellers I have checked on their approved list NONE have it. Worse, most of them don’t sell Tomtom products, and many don’t even sell GPS units at all! WTF kind of scam offer is this? Shame on you TomTom!
