It appears the problem with the Zumo series (450, 550, 660) is the battery. Even though they (Garmin) will not admit it, all the Zumo series have a very high battery failure rate. It seems that at $800 to $1,000 GPS doesn&#039;t buy a battery that lasts longer that 3 to 4 months. But it appears as though they are giving away free batteries.

		<description>Has anybody had a problem with their 450 locking up to the point where you had to remove the battery to reset the unit? I have heard several people have had this complaint.

Was that an earlier version of software that was fixed with an update?</description>
