NAVTEQ offers 3-D models

NAVTEQ has announced the availability of 3-D models of major cities, structures and landmarks for select cities in Europe, North America and Asia.  I expect we won’t see NAVTEQ-produced 3-D views on any new GPS receivers until the second half of 2007, at the earliest. I am assuming this technology will require some umph when it comes to processing power, video resources, etc.
