		<description>Mark, I think you&#039;re right. The specs tab on the garmin Forerunner 50 page says the watch is not GPS enabled and that it cannot hold waypoints or routes. I&#039;ll edit the post.</description>

		<description>They don&#039;t come out and say it (unless I missed it), but it doesn&#039;t look like it uses GPS at all...  it&#039;s like the Nike+iPod pedometer.  If the watch had GPS, why would it need a pod clipped to your shoe?</description>
