UPDATE: Read our TomTom GO 920T review.

TomTom has announced two new high-end GPS navigators, the TomTom GO 920 and 920T. The 920T will ship with an RDS-TMC traffic receiver and include a one year subscription, which can be purchased as an accessory for the 920.

The 920 series will include several exciting new features:

  • Voice Prompted Address Entry – This will give users the option to speak the address to which they want to drive. Users can simply speak the city, street name and address number they would like to travel to, and the device will automatically calculate the route.
  • Enhanced Positioning Technology – This uses movement and gravity sensors to calculate drivers’ positions when GPS signals are unavailable, such as when passing through tunnels.
  • North American and European maps – The TomTom GO 920 range includes pre-loaded maps of the United States and Canada and a seamless map of 41 countries in both Western and Central Europe.
  • TomTom’s Map Share technology, allowing users to update inaccuracies in certain map information.

The 920 series features a 4.3" wide screen, and includes a built-in FM transmitter and Bluetooth remote control. They are expected to be available in the fourth quarter 2007, listing for $599.95 for the GO 920 and $699.95 for the GO 920T.

I’ll update this post with links and photos when they become available.
