My Magellan Triton has been a paper weight so far. I loaded a route for a Grand Canyon Raft trip and when I go there when I tried to go to any wapoint the unit simply did nothing. I've had several GPS's, mostly Garmin and they all have their shortcomings but this unit sets a new standard. Plus, unlike my Garmin units (which ARE balky connecting to the computer)this one will not sync with MyTopo (formerly Terrain Navaigator), which is excellent and which I have already spent a hundred dollars on for Arizona USGS maps, the only REAL topo maps..
