Thank you for your review. Your comment about lane choices is an important one. Following I-26 through Asheville is a nightmare, especially during periods of heavy traffic or at night. Lane choice is critical to navigating this stretch of urban Interstate, and it appears that Tom Tom still isn’t up to snuff on this. The advanced features are not as well-developed as we might be led to believe from the advertising.

Thanks for your review. I am a truck driver and I am wondering if this device will show me truck routes, low bridges, location of truck stops, or is there something else that would be a better choice?

Apart from feature differences, TomTom’s generally offer more options and customization, whereas the Garmin has a very simplified user interface. If you like menus and getting under the hood, get a TomTom. If you prefer grab n’ go simplicity and ease of use, get a Garmin.
