Navigon 7200T boasts lifetime traffic, 3-D landmarks and voice command

Navigon has announced a new high end GPS navigator — the Navigon 7200T. The 7200T introduces several new features, including lifetime traffic, 3D landmarks and voice destination entry.
On past models, I liked most of what I saw, but found the Navigon interface wasn't quite up to par. With the 7200T, interface improvements promise to resolve at least some of the problems I noted. As a result, I'm really looking forward to trying out this feature-laden model; I hope to have a review unit in soon.

- Free Real-Time Traffic Updates for Life. Real-time traffic updates allow routing around congestion by including traffic flow, incidents and alternate routes and works for the lifetime of the product out-of-the-box without any registration processes, fees or additional hardware.
- Voice Destination Entry. Advanced voice recognition allows drivers to specify their destination by simply speaking the address. NAVIGON’s distinctive iconic interface guides users through the process.
- Landmark View 3D. The NAVIGON 7200T brings a new dimension to the map with hundreds of richly-textured 3D landmarks across the U.S. and Canada like the Empire State Building and the White House.

- Lane Assistant Pro™. Helps drivers prepare to make an upcoming exit or turn by providing clear visual lane guidance. NAVIGON’s second generation of Lane Assistant provides a lane map complete with arrows and actual road geometry.

The way the techs are improving the bells and whisles on the new stuff is just too cool ! They need to biuld a home/web page pull up unit with trackers in the GPS units in the family cars that way you can see where evreybodys at and ther eta to the house. Keep up the good work ! hope I win this one.

Presently I’m using a Garmin 765T, but actually wanted a high end Navigon. I purchased the unit at Best Buy, but when I asked about Navigon they didn’t carry it so I went with the Garmin. It is a nice unit, but the more I read about your high end units I really wish that I’d waited and bought your high end unit.
