Magellan Maestro Elite 4370

The Magellan Maestro Elite 4370 has finally shown up on Magellan's website, leading us to believe that it will actually make it to store shelves for the holiday season. What's posted above is the first image we've seen of the unit, which appears to sport an entirely new interface, 3-D buildings and lane guidance.
Magellan has been having a lot of difficulty getting their newest high-end units to market, leading some to speculate that they may be giving up on the PND business. The 4370 was slated to become available in the first quarter of 2008. While the appearance of this unit is not an indication that their internal problems have been solved, perhaps it helps puts to rest the rumor that they may be leaving the market entirely.
