DigiTimes is reporting that Mio will launch a 3.5G handset with GPS during the first quarter of 2009, ahead of the Garmin nuvifone. While nothing was mentioned about this being released in the U.S., Mio was showing off a concept model at CES last year (image via Engadget), so it wouldn’t surprise us to see it on this side of the pond.
