Garmin has announced nuMaps Lifetime – a new program that allows customers to download map and POIs updates every quarter for the life of their Garmin device. The program will go live on January 21; it was expected to be available a few months ago, but there were unspecified delays in getting it up and running. Costs are as follows:
- City Navigator® North America NT ($119.99)
- City Navigator Europe NT ($139.99)
- City Navigator Transatlantic ($149.99)
Single map updates will be available as well under the banner of nuMaps Onetime for $69.99.

Sounds like a great deal!
If i have 2 GPS in the house i can down load them ??????
If they are both compatible, yes, but you’ll need to pay for both.
Is the account attached to a particular unit? If I buy a new GPSR can I transfer the account to it?
Yes, it is attached to a specific unit and cannot be transferred.
There are so many people buying this lifetime service that lately Garmin’s website can’t handle the amount of people downloading at the same time when a new map comes out. I hope Garmin fixes this problem
I have a nuvi 200w GPS with Spain and Portugal, I bought the full Europe Lifetime, but now I only can load one of the diferent countries o zones that eupope is divided, and when you load a new one is writting over the anterior.
Do you have any solution to load all in the SD card
Never heard of that issue. I think you need to call Garmin support.
