I don't know why this wasn't included in this morning's news release; I spoke too soon when I speculated on the reasons for not releasing a nuvi 865T, because there's a product page up for it. Not only that, but the 8×0 series has been discontinued. Unless Garmin pulls a major change in the way they are doing things, the 865T will include lifetime NAVTEQ traffic.

Not as far as I know. Even if discontinued, Garmin will continue to support it with firmware upgrades, etc.
