		<description>I have the 1690 and used it like, twice.  Once my son traveled to see us and he loaded a Ciao type tracking app to his smartphone thingy.  We tracked him on the trip but he has to start the program,hit update each time he decides to broadcast his current location.  The other time was a test while my wife visited a friend.</description>

		<description>About that tracking the device if stolen.  If you activate Ciao, yes, it can be tracked.  I can track mine on the computer while my wife drives around town.  In fact you can track it anywhere.</description>
