TomTom is announcing the GO LIVE 1535 M today which, according to them, is the first PND to feature apps. Now we could quibble over that characterization, but nevertheless, they are debuting a device with Yelp, Trip Advisor, Expedia and Twitter.

TomTom HD Traffic now available for all LIVE models in US

TomTom-GO-2535-M-LIVETomTom has announced that their HD Traffic service is now available for all LIVE models in the US, bringing it to the GO 740 LIVE and XL 340 LIVE, in addition to the newly released GO 2535 M LIVE. They also announced a reduction in the annual subscription fee from $119.95 to $59.95 per year.

TomTom has announced that their new GO product line, including the TomTom GO 2535 M LIVE with HD traffic, is now shipping in the US. Initially sales will be limited to TomTom.com, Amazon, and BestBuy, though the latter appears to be the only one with the product in stock yet. And while opinions vary on how good HD traffic will be, the first reviewer at BestBuy.com sounds happy…
