Geek in the woods redux

Geek in the woods redux fullIt’s been almost two years since I posted a similar photo, but I thought I’d show you what my setup can look like these days when I’m out testing. Left to right, that’s an Edge 200, GPSMAP 62s, Oregon 450 and Montana 600 – all mine except for the first one, and I hope to have a review of it posted before Christmas.

I’ve seen people say that you should keep GPS units at least 6” apart, as they can interfere with each other, but I have to say, I’m getting pretty clean tracks when I do this.

Up next, a post about that Montana mount.

I’m waiting eagerly to see your results.

It would have been good to have in addition a new etrex with GLONASS support.
