TomTom ONE 130-S review

Tomtom_one_130s

UPDATE: This model has been discontinued. For a list of current TomTom models and their features, please see our TomTom comparison chart.

The TomTom ONE 130-S updates the TomTom ONE 3rd edition, with a new design that features a built-in mount called the EasyPortTM, that stows on the back of the device.

The TomTom ONE 130-S sports a 3.5″ screen. The S in the name refers to text-to-speech, so you’ll hear “turn right, Oak Street,”instead of just “turn right,” which is what you’ll get if you drop down to the TomTom ONE 130.

The major changes to this model from the TomTom ONE 3rd edition are the new form factor, re-designed speaker, and text-to-speech.

The TomTom XL 330 and TomTom XL 330-S offer the same features as the TomTom ONE 130 series, albeit with a larger, 4.3″ wide-screen. All of the above units come with pre-loaded maps of the U.S. and Canada. Please note that I’ve posted a detailed hands-on review of the TomTom XL 330-S.
