Owners of some TomTom units with the EASE interface (XL 350 series, XL 550 series and XL 335 LE, LM & SE models, but apparently not the EASE itself) might want to connect their units to the TomTom HOME app on their computers. A new firmware update will add the following features:
- Route Details screen – This screen gives the user the ability to explore your route upfront, browse through the intersections, the directions and instructions to get a better understanding of your route upfront
- Display Preferences option – The option allows users to customize their driving view
- Brightness Settings option
- Updated volume control menu
- Route planning preferences
- Expanded user customization options
