TomTom ONE XL review

Tomtom_one_xl_mount

UPDATE: This model has been discontinued. For a list of current TomTom models and their features, please see our TomTom comparison chart.

The TomTom ONE XL updates the popular TomTom ONE, adding a wider 4.3″ touch-screen. This GPS receiver comes with pre-loaded maps of the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico and is ready for real-time traffic services via a subscription to TomTom Traffic or the purchase of an RDS-TMC traffic receiver.

The TomTom ONE XL-S adds text-to-speech, so you’ll get “turn left on Oak Street in 500 feet” rather than just “turn left in 500 feet.” For more information on the differences between various TomTom GPS receivers, check out our TomTom GPS comparison chart.

  1. This looks like a really cool device – I’ve been using a TomTom ONE for a while now (also very good) and I can’t wait to take a look at the XL when they start showing up in the stores – the widescreen looks awesome.
