The motorcycle-friendly Garmin zumo 665 was announced today, adding to the zumo 660’s feature set with an antenna for XM Satellite Radio®, real-time XM NavWeather® and real-time XM NavTraffic®. Otherwise, the unit appears nearly identical to the zumo 660.
This update adds XM capabilities to the current generation zumo series, a feature previously found on the zumo 550, though that unit did not include an antenna in the package. There is no trial subscription; you’ll have to pony up for that yourself!
The zūmo 665 is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010 with a MSRP of $999.99.
