Magellan’s latest RV unit
Magellan has announced the 7″ RoadMate RV9490T-LMB, which offers live weather and gas prices via a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. Information can also be preloaded via WiFi.
The new model allows you to customize your vehicle profile for type and dimensions to avoid low bridges, etc., and has pre-loaded RV specific POIs, including the GoodSam RV Travel Guide & Campground Directory, RV dump stations and Walmart locations.
A “virtual dashboard ” can provide speed limit, mile marker, direction, grade, elevation and other key metrics.
The RV9490T-LMB is also compatible with Magellan’s wireless backup camera and will be available in Q2 2014 at an MSRP of $349.99.
