The Garmin zumo 220 is an entry-level model in the motorcycle-friendly zumo line. The thin form factor unit offers many of the features of its more advanced siblings, albeit with a smaller 3.5” touchscreen. Included are lane assist, Bluetooth headset compatibility, multi-destination routing and on-road/off-road travel options.

want to purchase a garmin zumo 220 for use on a motorcycle.
want to be able to listen to the gps in my helmet. Don’t want any thing hanging on the hemet.
so i thought i might be able to hook up some ear buds into the Hemet and have a receiving device in/on my jacket..any where but on the helmet. Not knowing much at about blue tooth etc…what might this device be??……better yet, what is “IT” that would allow me to listen to the gps via a small set of ear buds??
thank you for your time
There are plenty of motorcycle helmets with Bluetooth built in.
seems the zumo 550 is discontinued…..????
what model takes its place??
do any of the motorcycle garmins have an on board compass ??
an on board temperature sensor??
thank you for your time.
The zumo 350LM is the newest model.
I think they all have a compass screen, but you can verify this in the manual. All zumos have a north arrow on the screen, or can be set for north up. None have temperature sensors.
