Garmin Oregon 600 Sale at REI

oregon 600

I saw yesterday that REI currently has the Garmin Oregon 600 marked down to $250 from the normal $400 sale price. I’m not sure when the reduced price launched or when it will expire, so if you’re in the market for a great outdoor GPS unit for someone on your Christmas list (or even for yourself) then I might suggest taking advantage of it when you can.

This excellent device is one of the most popular outdoor units and features both WAAS and GLONASS compatibility in addition to GPS satellites. The device has customizable buttons, an electronic compass with an accelerometer tilt compensation, a barometric altimeter, the ability to place waypoints and much more. It can be used for geocaching, or just as a general outdoor GPS unit, but either way, it is definitely a good choice.
