Garmin nuvi 465LMT

The Garmin nuvi 465LMT adds lifetime map updates to the company’s first GPS designed for long-haul navigation and delivery trucks. The 465LMT supports multiple truck profiles, selecting routes based upon restrictions such as height, width, length, weight and hazardous materials. Truckers can enter their truck’s dimensions and load restrictions, with the nuvi adjusting many routes based on the customized truck profile and available map data.

Pre-loaded with maps of the U.S. and Canada, the Garmin nuvi 465LMT sports a 4.3” touchscreen, text-to-speech, Bluetooth and automatic time-zone transition.

The nuvi 465LMT includes lifetime NAVTEQ traffic, multi-destination routing, lane assist and Garmin’s “Where am I?” feature, displaying your location and nearby emergency points of interest.

The 465LMT will also display warning information for upcoming road conditions to help aid driver awareness of possible truck hazards along the route such as sharp curves, steep grades, road narrows and more.

The 465 series is the first to provide locations in the National Truck and Trailer Services (NTTS) Breakdown Directory, a comprehensive guide to semi-truck repair facilities nationwide – including those offering 24-hour road service. With over 30,000 repair and heavy duty towing services for the continental United States, this preloaded guide allows drivers to easily find truck-specific points of interest, such as truck repair, towing and recovery, tire sales and repair, glass repair, fuels stops and more.
