Hi,
I just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT had at Costco for $219.00. I am considering returning it for a newer 2014 model that has the slicker form factor and mounting system but I am not sure which 2014 Nuvi model to compare to. I don’t want to pay out big bucks for last years models. Can you tell me what you think and your take on buying a nuvi at this time of year?
Thanks,
Gary
That’s a 2012 model. The latest model (2013) is the nuvi 3597LMTHD… http://gpstracklog.com/2013/05/hands-on-with-garmin-nuvi-3597lmthd.html. It is unclear if they will release a new Prestige series model this year. If it were me and I could afford it, I’d probably go for the newer model.
Hi Rich,
Yea, compulsive purchase caused me to buy an antiquated model. I’m returning it and putting the money towards the 2014 Garmin nuvi Essentials line and buy the Nuvi 55LMT.
Unfortunately, Costco doesn’t carry up-to-date lines otherwise I’d buy from them because their return policy is unbelievable. Thanks for relying to my question.
Regards,
Gary
