The Garmin nüvi 2595LMT is the top of the line model in Garmin’s 2012 nuvi Advanced series line. One of the more significant refreshes in recent years, the Advanced series adds several new customization options, improved search functionality and Exit Services. All models in the Advanced series come with preloaded maps of the US, Canada and Mexico. As the premier 5” model, the 2595LMT also offers voice command, Bluetooth for hands free calling, as well as lifetime maps and traffic.

The Magellan RoadMate 5045-LM is Magellan’s most popular model as I write this, and with good reason. It offers an ultra-wide 5” screen, along with lifetime traffic and lifetime map updates, all for a very reasonable price. read more
Garmin nuvi 465LMT
The Garmin nuvi 465LMT adds lifetime map updates to the company’s first GPS designed for long-haul navigation and delivery trucks. The 465LMT supports multiple truck profiles, selecting routes based upon restrictions such as height, width, length, weight and hazardous materials. Truckers can enter their truck’s dimensions and load restrictions, with the nuvi adjusting many routes based on the customized truck profile and available map data.

The Garmjn nuvi 2455LMT is a relatively low-end model in Garmin’s 2012 nuvi Advanced series line, but don’t let that fool you – the 2455LMT is packed with features. The Garmin nüvi 50 is a 5” ultra-wide screen navigator in Garmin’s new 2012 Essential series. The models in this series are meant to be basic navigators at a budget price, lower than what we’ve previously seen for Garmin entry-level models. Nevertheless, they do come with some features not previously found on low-end nuvis, such as speed limit display, assist and junction view.
Garmin Rino 650
The Garmin Rino 650 GPS with two way radio updates older Rinos with a touch screen interface and triaxial compass, along with other goodies common to recent Garmin handhelds, including BirdsEye aerial imagery.
Garmin nuvi 40LM

Garmin Rino 655t
The Garmin Rino 655t GPS with two way radio updates the Rino 530HCx with a touch screen interface, preloaded100k scale topo maps, triaxial compass and 5MP geotagging camera. In addition, the 655t gets the other goodies common to recent Garmin handhelds, including BirdsEye aerial imagery, along with a barometric altimeter.
Garmin Montana 650t
The Garmin Montana 650t is one of three models in Garmin’s newest handheld series. With it’s huge 4” touchscreen, I had initially thought the Montanas were targeted to the motorized crowd (ATV’s, etc.), but after spending over a month with one, I’m convinced that a lot of hikers and geocachers will be attracted to it as well.
