Our best sellers for January were the Garmin nuvi 50LM and the Oregon 550

Our best sellers for January were the Garmin nuvi 50LM and the Oregon 550

Here’s what our readers bought over the past month… The rankings below are based on the number of units sold on GPS Tracklog, through our various partners like Amazon and REI. The Garmin nuvi 50LM claimed the top spot on the auto side once again, but we have a new champion on the handheld list – the Garmin Oregon 550. On to the charts…

Top selling auto GPS

  1. Garmin nuvi 50LM
  2. Garmin nuvi 40LM
  3. Garmin nuvi 2455LMT
  4. Garmin nuvi 2555LMT (tie)
  5. Garmin nuvi 2595LMT (tie)
  6. Garmin nuvi 2460LMT (tie)
  7. Garmin nuvi 3490LMT (tie)
  8. Garmin nuvi 3590LMT (tie)
  9. Garmin nuvi 50 (tie)
  10. Garmin nuvi 2475LT (tie)
  11. Garmin nuvi 2495LMT (tie)

Top selling sport and handheld GPS

  1. Garmin Oregon 550
  2. Garmin Montana 600 (tie)
  3. Magellan eXplorist GC (tie)
  4. DeLorme inReach (tie)
  5. Garmin eTrex 20 (tie)
  6. Garmin eTrex 30 (tie)
  7. Garmin GPSMAP 62sc (tie)
  8. Garmin Oregon 450 (tie)

I’ve only listed the top eight models on the handheld side. Even then, the last four only had a couple units sold of each model. We typically see a lot more auto units sold than handhelds, and in January it is even more skewed!
