New nuvis in stock, Oregon delayed

The Garmin Oregon 600 and 2013 nuvi Advanced series

Most of the 2013 Garmin nuvi Advanced series models are now shipping from GPS City (which offers free priority mail shipping) and direct from Garmin. It appears that Amazon should have them in another week or so. Meanwhile the Oregon 600 series is now expected to ship March 25 (April 2 for the 650 series). read more

As previously noted, DeLorme is working on a new product, and now GPS City has spilled the beans on the DeLorme inReach SE, which is expected to hit their shelves around April 1. Unfortunately, it’s not the all-in-one GPS + satellite communicator we were hoping for, but it does update the current inReach with a color screen and virtual keyboard. read more

Ah February, the month of…ties? Well, it is the lowest month of the year for GPS sales, hence the high number of ties in the list of what our readers bought last month. The rankings below are based on the number of units sold on GPS Tracklog, through our various partners like Amazon and REI. On the auto side, the Garmin nuvi 50LM and 2495LMT share the top spot.
