Gazing into the crystal ball for our 2012 Black Friday GPS predictions
Black Friday is barely a week away, so it’s time to pull out the old crystal ball. Actually there isn’t a whole lot of mystery involved since most stores have leaked their Black Friday ads, but I have been sorting through the deals to let you know what to expect…
We had some surprises this morning as the Garmin Oregon 450 went on sale a couple days early, and we came across an unanticipated sale on the nuvi 2012 Advanced series as well. UPDATE: Plus two more killer handheld deals. Here’s the full list of bargains we’re tracking on our GPS Deals site:

UPDATE: I’ve confirmed that the XL 335SE is exclusive to Walmart, Walmart Canada and Walmart.com.
Walmart has let their Black Friday ad leak, and they have a special edition navigator in the line up, the TomTom XL 335SE for $79 (that link goes to a refurbished one, though they should have new ones up by sometime next week). They will also have the TomTom EASE for $59, but since that one is better known, I want to focus on what to expect with the XL 335SE.

The Garmin nuvi 1300LMT is a BestBuy Black Friday 2010 exclusive. It adds lifetime map updates and traffic to the popular Garmin nuvi 1300. A mid-range unit in a line of Garmin GPS navigators introduced in 2009 (here is a list of more recent nuvi introductions), it offers a 4.3” widescreen and comes pre-loaded with maps of the entire United States with the exception of Alaska.
